The 8-port outdoor fiber distribution box is a compact Network Access Point (NAP) designed to connect feeder cables from the outside plant (OSP) to subscriber drop cables in FTTH and FTTB networks. It supports quick deployment through pre-connectorized drop cables or fusion splicing with pigtails, while also accommodating mini PLC splitters and pre-assembled pigtails for efficient optical signal distribution.
This compact enclosure integrates fiber splicing, splitting, termination, distribution, and cable management in a single unit. It is widely used in MDUs, residential buildings, commercial facilities, and villas, supporting both wall-mounted and pole-mounted installations.
The enclosure features 2 cable inlet ports and 8 cable outlet ports, supporting one 1×8 steel-tube PLC splitter and up to 4-fiber splicing capacity. Constructed from high-quality ABS plastic, it provides reliable protection for fiber splices and terminations. The dual-layer internal design simplifies installation and maintenance, with the upper layer dedicated to splitting and cable distribution, and the lower layer for splicing and fiber routing. Its waterproof design makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
