This FC pigtail is a multimode cable with an unterminated end and a premium FC UPC fibre optic connector on one end. For a given application, Pigtail can set up a single mode or multimode fibre. Simplex or duplex fibre optic cable versions of this line of FC pigtail assemblies are offered in UPC and APC polish. The jacket, cable diameter, and cable length are optional. Because 0.9mm cable is particularly well-suited for high-density splice applications, it is the most common type of fibre pigtail.
Fibre Pigtail is used to mount fibre optical components precisely and align them. Fibre optic pigtail, which is primarily used to terminate fibre optic cable via fusion or mechanical splicing, offers a quick method of connecting communication equipment. Additionally, the pigtails are typically found in terminal boxes, fibre distribution boxes, ODF, etc. They are extensively utilised in LAN/WAN networks, FTTH/FTTX, CATV, and more.
